I’ve been using this for 12 days, and as someone dealing with stubborn eczema on the hands my entire life, I can say that this is one of my favorite creams I’ve tried. I know a lot of people worry that it contains a potent steroid of some kind, but from experience, this doesn’t seem to work like my steroid creams or ointments. It doesn’t clear the skin up overnight (a good sign), but with consistent use I noticed it calmed the itchiness and inflammation A LOT. And in two weeks in (only using it once at night before bed) I’m starting to see my hands clear up. It’s like it’s healed my skin’s barrier, which was broken and constantly itchy and red. The tube is small, but honestly you don’t need to slather yourself in this stuff for it to work. It’s pink-ish in color and has a VERY strong menthol smell, that opens my sinuses. I believe that it has quite a few antibacterial/ anti fungal ingredients, and that’s why I suppose it helps with healing the skin barrier. Anyways tldr: this stuff works. Not a magic fix, but it has helped calm and clear my stubborn hand eczema in just under 2 weeks. I’d prefer it to hydrocortisone, steroids, or any flare creams/ointments I’ve tried.

My 7 yr old daughter and I have mild eczema on our hands, inner elbow, and back of the neck. It’s hereditary as many of my siblings and their kids have it as well, some more severe than others, so we’re always on the hunt for something other than prescription steroids. I can't believe I'm saying this, but a random Chinese herbal cream I found on Amazon completely cleared up my eczema after nothing else worked. For context: I had undiagnosed eczema on my elbows for nearly a year. My nightly routine involved slathering on whatever cream I could find, desperately hoping for a few hours of relief. This cream seems to be certified steroid free, and how it works, I'm pretty sure that it is steroid free. However, I have had different dry red scaly spots on my skin that, in the past, have sometimes been there for a decade. They never changed or itched. They never got worse. They never moved or spread. I have used this cream and they have gone away, often times permanently, or at least for years and years. The one big thing was that I usually had to use this cream for a full month or it would just come back in not too long. I really needed to use it until there was no sign of the spot anymore after at least a month. The spots would then not come back, sometimes, ever. That is a lot different than a steroid cream, where the spots always come back fairly quickly no matter how long you use them. I'm pretty convinced this cream has no side effects, and if you use it for 2 weeks, and it comes back, it is not worse, but pretty much the same as it was.

Key ingredient sophora is game changer!

In researching natural remedies for eczema, I read that in Chinese medicine they use the sophora plant to help with many skin problems caused by inflammation (Nourishing Traditions). This was the only cream I found that was easily available that had that plant as the main ingredient and I was absolutely impressed with how well it worked for my 1-year old’s eczema.
